Information on process
The products we use and the method they are applied are extremely safe. We used water based synthetic Pyrethrins during spraying, if you would like any further information on products used please let us know. Areas we treat externally, we spray fences and garden edges, eaves and gutters, around windows and doors, building foundation and any other areas that can harbour pests.
-Roof space if present we apply with a power blower a fast knockdown permethrin dust which fills the roof cavity controlling pests fast.
-Subfloor we inspect and either spray with liquid insecticide or apply Permethrin powder with a power blower, depending what your subfloor suits more.
-Internals we spray the floor edges and skirting throughout the home. Spray is only applied down low on floor edges so there is no need to cover beach tops, food, bedding etc
When pest control is being performed at your home it is recommended that residents vacate for at least 1.5 hours until the spray has dried. Pets also need to be kept away from spray until it is dry.
Few tips to prepare for your service;
- loose items moved off floor edges.
- No clothes on line outside
- Pets bowls and bedding flipped upside down
- Leave spider webs in place don’t remove before pest service
- It is recommended no cleaning floor edges for a few days after service
- Cover fish tanks or ponds and show us location before service
- If you get windows professionally cleaned get this done 2 weeks after service.
Exterior
We use Fipronil. This product is outstanding; social insects like ants and cockroaches, after contacting the product, carry it back to their nest and pass it on via feeding and grooming.
Most Pest Controllers won’t spend the money to use Fipronil, but we do; that’s how we can get the job done effectively and offer a solid warranty and your money back. *
Note: Synthetic Pyrethrum products may also be used on the exterior.
